... for an evening outside, listening to music.

This is raining as if the world would explode. I had a legshower to work on my bicycle. Look by yourself:

I was at a date tonight. Some guys and 3 girls and i tell you sweat ran all over our bodies. It was time for "step" intervall training with IK Akele and ush, it was hot.

I missed the 3 previous training because of bad excuses like rain, Midsommar and "i dunno where the new stadium is", but tonight, no way. I took my bike and ride like 20 min in the hot sun (everything upphills almost!) and the first exercise was to climb the grind. It has been some missunderstanding between the trainer and the people in charge of the booking of the area. But anyways.

We began with some running training: run in the grass. This is ridiculous how quick the human forgot how it was to run naturally. At least how quick i did. It was like i had to relearn to run without shoes. It felt good, some rests of the last rain on the footboll area.

Step. The plan was 200m+400m+600m+800m+1000m+800m+600m+400m+200m but i jumped over the 1000m. Too hot, to hard, too tired and well, too lazy could be a better expression for that. I ran everything under 4min/km so i am quite satisfied. When i read the post of the wonderfull Annsann today, i understood pretty well that with running a 200 more just to land right close to you water.

After the running, it was time again to make this ridiculous exercise "plankan" but even if i will feel all my stomach muscles and back too tomorrow, i guess it is good for what i have.

To sweat in group made me feel happier. I even sang when i was riding my bike back home (downhill!!). I would never have thought in my whole life that i would use training as therapi, but it works my friends, it works. Enough for me to go to bed without thinking too much and tomorrow is another day.

This was my happy feet after the training. And for the last 200m (ran in 45 seconds) i had this song in the ears, pretty accurate if you ask me!

I taxin, i trappen, i hissen, i hallen
Jag faller
Faller

Du och jag nu
Du snälla vänta, vänta, håll ut

Tio tusen meter upp i luften ser jag allt så klart
Jag vet att hon är söt, men det måste bli du och jag
Du och jag

Oooooooh
Jag tror att jag faller, jag faller

In

Sluta klaga på mörkret, dra ut huvudet ur röven i stället.

Oh i love you Mark Levengood! You made my day. You and your humor and the long run in the forest. Today was also a strange day, which began with a bycicle which did not want to go to work (sick...) but i convinced it with a hard spark and it worked good. I forgot my code to enter at work, re-sick. But then, after some little downs, i promised myself that nothing would stop me to take a long run tonight.

I had a funny moment though today at work and it was when i showed this video to a colleague of mine, having trouble to print some pappers. Oldy but goldy!

Even if the sky was beginning to become all black, even if the temperature is above 25 degrees, even if i am tired and ready to find stupid excuses, i put my running shoes on and ran to the wood. I was only smiling and laughting while listening to Sommarprat with Mark Levengood talking there. The people i met must have think i was crazy but Mark has a lot of humor, really and he is a good story teller.

I find a wood in Hackefors and there were several ways marked there. I choose the 2,9km since i already ran a little more than 4km there and i had to run back home too. This was a lovely little wood with a lots of up and downhills, so K, be ready, this will be the perfect training for the 29th of august! I ran 11km in 63 minutes, this is ok for the temperature.

Life is short. As you can see on the picture bellow. But there is always new things coming up. As you can see on the picture bellow. Mark is pretty right with his affirmation (the first line of this text, meaning, "instead of complaining about he dark, take your head off your ass"). This is good for me to read it a day like today or like all the days from this week. I am not sure what i did wrong, but i am paying the price of something and to laugh tonight was benefic. No need to complain, do something about it instead! (I talk to myself of course)

Now, off to my shower and after some housewife activities, i will spend the night with Karl-Ove. For today, you may have an old song:

I ran my little round this morning and it was a dissapointment: +4 seconds... Well, i was pretty tired, it was early (so early that when i came back home, i had to use the key to open the outdoor...) and i was not really motivated. I think the weather is taking me down. It is all grey everywhere and i want my bed. Now. Well, not now now, but very soon.

Song of the day:

i was at this time of the day very nervous. I was about to take the bus over to Danmark and take me to Sweden by running. It was the broloppet, and my first half-marathon. It was a great experience and i thought 2 things: 1) it would be nice to run a halv mara every year and 2) i will NEVER register to a real marathon. I succeeded with both so far. In 2011, i ran the half marathon of Paris and made it 11 minutes faster than in 2010 and i still did not register to a real mara. Good girl!

To celebrate this, i took a nice and slow run this morning with a friend in the sun. 9 km in 50 minutes.

The song of this morning could be this one:

All your dreams are made
When you're chained to (your) mirror with (your) razor blade
Today's the day that all the world will see
Another sunny afternoon
(I'm) walking to the sound of your favorite tune
Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon

Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to rest your mind
You know you should so I guess you might as well

Need a little time to wake up, wake up
Well, What's the story morning glory?

"we have luck that the weather is a little windy". That's what a guy at the running training told me when i was dying between 2 intervalls. Yeah, lucky us! But i did not feel any wind. I was just feeling my heart which wanted to jump out of my chest. This was a hard evening in Folkungavallen.

It was supposed to be 7 times 800m. I ran the 3 first sets in 2min50 each and then, i gave up. Too short night, so i ran 4 times 400m in 1min 50 each. I will sleep like a baby tonight! No need to sing me a good night song!

I feel heavy though and i am a little scared that the big K will beat me august the 29th. And i am also a bit scared for the tjurruset in oktober.

This song was a special dedicace to the girl with the long blond hair who was running out the hell fast! But not sure she was as good as Annsann though. And Annsann is not only quick, she is also terribly sympathetic! :)

57

it was the number of minutes i needed tonight to take me round a 9,81km jogg. This was no high speed, but i succeded in eating moukitos with the right eye.

Tonight, in Sweden, the mood is like that:

Well. Not really. The young Manu Chao is a way to exotic to represent swedes in front of the TV even if Sweden is beating Finland with some 3-0 for now. Maybe the stoned and old Manu Chao from today would be as energic. But i love you Swedes :D

Anyway, it rained, finally and i am loading for the haöv marathon of 2012 with carbohydrate, aka pastachoute. Miam! Never underestimate the power of planning and preparation ;)

this is the time i won over myself compared to the last time (last monday) i ran my little jogging round in Linköping. It was quite hot already this morning at 8 when i went outside, but i was feeling pretty strong and motivated, so i finished the almost 7km in 34 minutes.

And i have to show you the marks from rugby last time. I "met" a guy's head a little too close and when i came home, i noticed a blue mark just at the corner of my eye. This mark is travelling around my eye it seems and this morning, it was under the eye, with a yellow rainbow behind it. Nice, wtf!

I survived the first intervall training with IK Akele, a running club in Linköping. Not that i forgot Vilsta IK but this is not that practical to train in Eskilstuna for me now.

Tonight, it was "steg", meaning 200m + 400m + 600m + 800m + 1000m + 800m + 600m + 400m + 200m. I did not check my time for every heat but i run the kilometer in 4min 50 sec and the last 200m in 40 seconds. A guy that i met yesterday and who was randomly also running here told me to cheer me up "40 seconds, that what the elit need to run 400 m" ahah i was cheered up ;)

The thing that i did not know was that after the torture running, it was a core moment. For those who don't know what it is, check this out: plankan. Try then to lift one leg, and then the other and then one arm and the other and so, and hold 20 seconds each position. When you are done with that, you will be tired, i swear. At least, if you have my condition...

But i like running, this will be nice to go there next thursday too! :)

ush, if i would have belived in God, i would have said "oh my god" but i don't, so i won't say it. But though!

It was rugby training tonight again and i almost died 5 times. Not because it was hard and touchy, no no, just because my heart was collapsing during the intervall training. There is specially one thing called "the idiot" and you really feel like an idiot doing it, and you get very thankfull when the trainer says "water everyone". Then, i had to play with the kids, since the good players were enough to make a 7 against 7. It was all good for me this time, for real.

At the end of the training, i heard the 3 girls saying "hey frenchie!", so i went to them and one told me "great physical condition you have! You may hang out with us and train with the girlteam, go with R next monday.". Like ouahou! I am kind of accepted! Cool! So now i need to live up to their expectations... and train to pass this ball better too...

This has been a very sunny day, and i will sleep within 3 minutes after i will lay in my bed. Tomorrow, bug day, another one during which i will have to memorize thousend of new names. Good night!
